Maryland Dad Beaten to Death by Enraged Mob For Protecting Son

The father of a teenage boy in Maryland was “brutally” beaten to death by an angry mob who came to his door intending to rip his son limb-from-limb. The fight started at school and the neighbors wanted to finish it once and for all.

Violent mob wanted blood

Watching violence on television and immersing themselves in it through video games wasn’t enough for this angry mob in Brooklyn Park, Maryland.

They wanted a fight and they were going to get one. They weren’t satisfied until they beat a man to death on his lawn, right in front of his screaming family.

On Friday, May 19, Christopher Michael Wright was confronted outside his home by “three teens and two adults that were looking for his fiancée’s 14-year-old son.” They were there to kill him.

Allegedly, the teen “had gotten in a fight with another teen at Brooklyn Park Middle School earlier in the day.” Let’s talk this out, Wright suggested. After all, isn’t that what parents are supposed to do? Not in that Democrat jurisdiction. The mob wanted violence and weren’t willing to negotiate.

Wright calmly “told the group that the boy was not going to come outside to fight.” Oh really? They queried. “If he’s not going to fight, then you’re going to fight,” a spokesman for the angry mob replied.

According to the boy’s mother, Tracy Karopchinsky, it was all over before cops could even be called.

Traumatic brain injury

The mob jumped on Mr. Wright and pummeled him senseless. Eventually, he was transported “to an area hospital where he died from a traumatic brain injury on Saturday.” The family can’t believe he was murdered by teens and adults alike “over a middle school fight.

Even worse, Ms. Karopchinsky relates, “all three of her children were home at the time of the attack.” They witnessed the brutal mayhem first hand and will never get that out of their minds.

Just looking at the damage that was done to him, that wasn’t just punching that did that. Like, there’s no way that punching did that. The damage was done before the ambulance ever took him away. I mean, he’d had a seizure. It was done. There was nothing that the hospital could do.

The entire episode of mob mayhem was caught on their security camera.

Wright’s widow and her dad “tried to go onto the camera to look, and the first video that comes up is my 12-year-old son screaming, ‘Daddy, daddy, daddy,‘ and running out of the house into the street to go help his dad.” She couldn’t watch another frame. School officials “confirmed the fight at the school and said they are now cooperating with Anne Arundel County police during their investigation.

Police have yet to round up the mob so “no charges have been filed yet.” Even if someone does manage to trip over the suspects and charge them with something, probably “littering” for leaving a body laying around, there is little chance a prosecutor will secure anything close to a conviction. That would lead to prison overcrowding and we simply can’t have that.
