In the city of London of all places we find the latest tragedy attached to the Black Lives Matter terrorist organization. The London Metropolitan Police have reported that Sasha Johnson, 27, a notable “activist” with BLM was found having suffered a gunshot wound to the head in the early morning hours of May 23rd. Police have said they do not believe that Sasha was an intentional target. Police report Johnson was shot by four black men, she is currently hospitalized in critical condition after emergency surgery.
According to Sky News,
“Met Police Commander Alison Heydari appealed to the public for information on the shooting, saying “four black males in dark clothing” fired a gun during a party in Peckham.”
“From our enquiries so far, we have established that Sasha had been at a party at a house on Consort Road in Peckham early on Sunday morning,” Cdr Heydari said.
“Around 3am a group of four black males dressed in dark coloured clothing entered the garden of the property and discharged a firearm.”
“We are aware of Sasha’s involvement in the Black Lives Matter movement in the UK and I understand the concern this will cause to some communities – however, I wish to stress that at this time there is nothing to suggest Sasha was the victim of a targeted attack.”
What Are The Odds Of An “Activist” Being Unintentionally Shot In The Head…In London?
In other nations an accidental shooting has a ring of plausibility. However, in the incredibly restrictive United Kingdom this still has to give some pause. The UK ranks 16th in the world for civilian firearm ownership with a mere 8.3 per 100 people (compare to the US which ranks #1 with 120 per 100 people).
Newsweek explains, “Gun ownership in the U.K. is a privilege, not a right. Firearms control in the U.K. is among the toughest in the world, and as a result firearms offences continue to make up a small proportion (less than 0.2 percent) of recorded crime.”
Being shot in the head in London is a little like being drowned in the desert, sure it happens but the odds aren’t very good, and it’s almost never random. Johnson’s political party the “Taking the Initiative Party” isn’t buying the Met Police’s story on this either.
Daily Mail reports, “Sasha Johnson, the self-styled ‘Black Panther of Oxford’ who called for the police to be defunded after the murder of George Floyd in the US last summer, is fighting for her life in hospital following the attack in Peckham, south-east London at 3am on Sunday after an all-day house party.
Scotland Yard is insisting there is nothing to suggest the 27-year-old mother of two was the target of the attack, and is appealing for witnesses who were in Consort Road to piece together the events that led to Ms Johnson being in the capital instead of at home in Oxford with her children.” However, according to the party there have been mulitple email and social media threats sent along with multiple posts ‘celebrating Sasha’s attack, messages wishing she dies, calling her a racist, and wishing better luck to the shooter next time for not killing her’.
What Nobody Wants To Talk About–A Hit Job
There are two very conflicting stories here, we have the London Metropolitan Police’s take that the shooting didn’t seem intentional, Scotland Yard saying threats against Johnson’s life were not “credible”, the Daily Mail reports that “a London gang carried out a botched drive-by shooting to assassinate a rival at the end of an all-day party” then we have the extremist “activist” group the “Taking the Initiative Party” making statements like this:
“We are disgusted by the way this narrative has been portrayed as a “black on black crime” and a “gang crime”, not acknowledging that this is a hate crime or a targeted attack at worst. This was due to a statement made earlier today on the BBC, by Imarn Ayton reporting an update on the incident that was factually incorrect.”
This referred to comments made by Imarn Ayton on the BBC where she said “As far as we’re aware she [Sasha] was at a party and there was a rival gang that may have heard about a person being there that they didn’t feel comfortable with, or trusted, so they resorted to driving past and shooting into a garden. And one of those shots obviously hit Sasha Johnson. But I don’t believe she was the intended target”.
She added: “This incident is more related to rival gangs than to her activism’, adding she believed there was ‘some kind of dispute between two different groups”
The shooting is being characterized as a “drive-by” with a neighbor reporting ‘I heard two shots. There was about three seconds between each one and I heard a car screeching off.’
However, in light of the circumstances and statements surrounding it, it seems perhaps that the “Taking Initiative Party” perhaps protests too much? Their insistence that this was not a case of misdirected gang violence and must be a “hate crime” or “targeted attack” based on Johnson’s “activist” activities seems odd given that the assailants have been described as four young Black men. While it’s possible that four young Black men COULD engage in a hate crime against a prominent BLM “activist” (Black people aren’t politically monolithic in the UK or the US) it strains credibility, it’s unlikely.
Another Black “Activist” Assassination … Perhaps By Her Own?
What seems more likely is that either; the attack on Johnson WAS in fact a gang hit gone awry where she was an unfortunate bystander, or that she was a target of deliberate assassination , not as a racist hate-crime but potentially as a mafia style hit from within BLM UK or the “Taking Initiative Party” by a rival faction or individual seeking to take over the organization or merely remove her as an “activist”. Somewhat akin to the assassination of Malcolm X by the Nation of Islam.
On that note it is interesting that Johnson was seen flanked by a tall man in the trademark red bow tie and pocket handkerchief of the Nation of Islam at a rally in August of 2020. Check out their statement on Twitter:

Here Is A Quick Glimpse Into the “Taking Initiative Party’s” Extremist Views
- Ms. Johnson called for a ‘race offenders’ register’ that would see people barred from jobs based on having been accused of ‘micro-aggressions’ in the workplace.
- She called for the establishment of a ‘black militia’ in the UK.
- Ms. Johnson then compared the police to the Ku Klux Klan and dismissed ethnic minority politicians David Lammy, Priti Patel and Sadiq Khan as ‘tokenistic’.
- She led chants of ‘f*** the police’ and ‘one solution, revolution’ in a fresh campaign to remove the statue of Cecil Rhodes from Oxford University.
- Also called for ‘Holocaust-style’ reparations for black people on the basis that capitalism racially discriminates against them.
- Ms Johnson said inclusion on the list would mean you could be excluded from ‘certain fields’ of employment – or even banned from living near people from ethnic minorities.”If you live in a majority-coloured neighbourhood you shouldn’t reside there because you’re a risk to those people – just like if a sex offender lived next to a school he would be a risk to those children,” she said.
