A WWE Super Star has now been arrested for terrorist threats, and there is no question that it has been a sad day for the sport.
Apparently, the legal woes of former WWE super star Tammy Lynn Sytch continue, and the 49-year-old wrestling champion is in trouble again.
There was a report from TMZ that described the latest legal issues that the WWE Hall of Famer now finds herself in.
On a Thursday morning on January 13th, Stych was arrested for making terroristic threats and being in unlawful possession of a handgun.
The NJ statute reads: “A person is guilty of a crime of the third degree if he threatens to commit any crime of violence with the purpose to terrorize another or to cause evacuation of a building, place of assembly, or facility of public transportation, or otherwise to cause serious public inconvenience, or in reckless disregard of the risk of causing such terror or inconvenience.”
However, the report on Stych went on to say that the nature of these stated threats that she allegedly made against someone remains unknown.
These weapons charges against Sytch each carry a 3-5-year prison term, and her alleged threats carry as high as a one-year prison sentence.
Stych is better known as Sunny, and she is no stranger when it comes to legal problems.
She was last arrested in February 2019 for DUI and it was the sixth time she was arrested for that offense.
In 2018, Sytch spent eight months at the Carbon County Correctional Facility in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania before she was paroled in October of that same year.
After she was released, Sunny vowed to go to rehab and stay clean. Unfortunately, these recent developments seem to indicate little improvement on her end.
All Sytch can do now is wait, and it appears that this WWE super star still has a long way to go.
