It does appear that Biden’s Department of Justice is once again bailing out a big corporation that should be shelling out big bucks to injured parties.

After previously opening up Boeing to a criminal suit, the government has apparently settled with Boeing regarding two major crashes that took place.

Families of the victims of those crashes, needless to say, are livid.

The Bailout

In 2018 and 2019, there were two major Boeing crashes that resulted in 346 people losing their lives.

After an initial investigation, the DOJ ruled that Boeing had violated a previous deal that required Boeing to update safety measures as well as a fine of $2.5 billion.

Now, we all know how this works… Boeing is a major government contractor, so the prices were probably juiced so the American taxpayers realistically footed that fine.

After the government made that ruling, Paul Cassell, a lawyer for 15 families of victims who were killed in 2018 and 2019 crashes, stated, “Because Boeing’s crime is the deadliest corporate crime in U.S. history, a maximum fine of more than $24 billion is legally justified and clearly appropriate, although it might be partially suspended if funds that would otherwise be paid are devoted to appropriate quality control and safety measures.”

The government has since settled with Boeing, and that settlement is not sitting well with Cassell, who more recently stated, “The deal will not acknowledge, in any way, that Boeing’s crime killed 346 people. It also appears to rest on the idea that Boeing did not harm any victim.

“The families will strenuously object to this plea deal.

“The memory of 346 innocents killed by Boeing demands more justice than this.”

To me, this just seems like a typical government coverup to protect what is one of the largest government contractors we have in this country.

There is no way the government would allow Boeing to go belly up, so they work this deal and bail them out.

All of the details of the deal have not yet been released, and Boeing has until the end of the week to decide whether to accept it. At that point, I would imagine we would be provided with further details.

For now, however, it appears that the little guy just gets a boot on his throat while our corrupt government and its cronies survive to live another day.
