Former President Donald Trump has just made an announcement that has the entire MAGA crowd cheering. In reaction to the recent ousting of now former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, Trump has expressed willingness to take on the role in order to bring back order to the GOP.
While leaving a New York courthouse, Trump was quoted, ““A lot of people have been calling me about Speaker. All I can say is we’ll do whatever is best for the country and the Republican Party… We have some great, great people. If I can help them in the process, great.”
Trump stated that he would do whatever it is best for both the country and Republican Party. Troy Nehls (R-TX) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) have nominated him for the position, citing his ability to remind Republicans of their shared priorities like reducing Ukraine aid spending, protecting female athletes, and boosting domestic production of oil and natural gas.
JUST IN: Donald Trump confirms from the New York courthouse that he has been asked about becoming the House Speaker, says he would do it.
That would be epic ????

House rules don’t require its Speakers to be members of Congress, yet no outsider has ever filled this role before. It will take a prominent figure like Donald Trump with a majority vote in order for him to secure the appointment.
At present time, however, he already has several criminal trials and a civil trial going against him due to alleged property value inflation when obtaining loans – all necessitating his attention away from politics. Thus whether or not he can find time in his busy schedule remains to be seen.
At this point there appears no clear sides taken between McCarthy and Matt Gaetz (R-FL), though President Trump posted a generally negative comment about what is happening on Truth Social late Tuesday night, October 3, asking why Republicans are always fighting each other instead of Democrats who are “destroying our Country”.
If elected Speaker, perhaps this will provide Trump with an opportunity needed reminding American voters of his governing style while at the same time helping reestablish peace within Congress itself – especially if it is between warring factions within one’s own party.
