New York Police didn’t bother to arrest an animal who “allegedly” beat “a 60-year-old woman with a cane in a Harlem subway station.” Norton Blake “was cut loose by cops after the heinous caught-on-camera assault.” Now, it’s those same cops who are being investigated for that.

Arrest failure angers public

Taxpaying New York City citizens are furious to learn that no arrest was made, when 43-year-old Norton Blake “bashed Laurell Reynolds, 60, scores of times on her head, stomach, leg, arms, back and hands.

As he used her cane for a weapon, “she fell to the ground inside the West 116 Street and Lenox Avenue station at about 3:30 a.m. on Friday.” She was in his way.

The “hulking” assailant nearly beat the senior to death with her own cane in Harlem. The “heinous” assault was caught on camera but police didn’t bother to make an arrest.

As related by Richard Davey, president of the New York City Transit Authority, the call came in to the city’s Rail Control Center, on September 1, from a transit worker. They “in turn contacted 911 — while she filmed the early-morning attack.

Police interviewed both Ms. Reynolds and her assailant as soon as they got there. As reported, they “eventually cut the suspected brute loose after the two offered conflicting accounts of what happened.

Separately, the victim explained she was told if she made them arrest him, they would have to cuff her, too. After being brutalized once already, she quickly succumbed to the police brutality and said forget it then.

Cops did see the video

The responding officers did see the video but reporters are admitting that it’s not clear if that happened before or after they decided to let Blake wander away to assault someone else. As of September 5, Reynolds remains in the hospital. Medical staff notes she was “beaten so hard and so often the cane shattered over her body.

She wants “justice” but that’s a joke in New York. Expecting police to arrest anyone not named Donald Trump is a fantasy. “They should’ve arrested him!” Declared Ms. Reynolds “who is disabled and uses a walker and does not work.

She was simply minding her own business and didn’t deserve to be attacked with her own cane for moving slow. “I don’t deserve that. Not at all, not at all. And I pray to God that it doesn’t happen to no one else. They need to keep that man off the street.

Her daughter Lashanne Reese “also lashed out at cops for failing to arrest Blake in the station.” Not only that, nobody came to stop the assault, even the one recording it.

He could do this to someone else’s mother of father because they did not lock him up,” Reese proclaims. “That man could’ve killed my mother. You all did nothing. I have a problem with that.

Why pay police who refuse to arrest an obvious criminal. “He shouldn’t be on the street. He just attacked my mother and beat her with a cane. He don’t belong on the street.
