Rep. George Santos is doing everything he can to hold onto that seat.
The man fabricated his entire resume to get elected.
Now that he has been called out, he is spinning like a DJ trying to justify his actions.
Terrible
Piers Morgan gave Santos a chance to come clean, and he did, sort of.
On his made-up resume, Santos stated, “I’ve been a terrible liar.”
He added, “Well, I’ll humor you this: I ran in 2020 for the same exact seat for Congress. And I got away with it then.”
The audacity to think that because he got away with it once, it was okay to do it again.
Morgan did not let him off the hook, stating, “The problem you have, congressman, seems to me is that you admit to certain big lies, and then you deny other big lies, and the problem people have is they don’t know when you’re lying and when you’re telling the truth.
“I’m not even sure now because how can I be?
“Because you’ve claimed on campaign bios you went to this school and this volleyball team and achieved this degree, big Wall Street big hitter, and all these things turned out not to be true.
“So when you now look me in the eye and say, ‘Well actually, no, this is true,’ I don’t know what to believe.”
Santos stated that he wanted to win back everyone’s trust, but the man is a grifter, nothing more.
He needs to go.
