Donald Trump has never really done well in approval polls, but he has the loyalty of the Republican Party, and that always kept his numbers respectable.
That has changed rather dramatically since Mar-a-Lago.
Now Trump is seeing approval ratings his all-time worst.

Donald Trump is sinking in terms of approval ratings.
The latest NBC News poll has him at 34 percent approval and 54 percent disapproval.
Those numbers are worse than Biden and even Kamala Harris.
Trump’s lowest ratings were in April 2021, when he was polling at 32 and 55 respectively.
Trump’s press team makes note that Trump is the overwhelming favorite to win the GOP nomination if he runs.
They are, of course, right, but this is not about the GOP nomination.
Can Trump beat a Democrat, any Democrat, that runs for office in 2024?
At 34 percent approval, that is unlikely.
This is not about supporting or not supporting Trump.
This is about beating Democrats and taking back the White House.
Voters need to seriously ask themselves if Trump is that guy, and they better answer that question very soon.
