Who here supports banning PACs and out-of-state money for local campaigns?
My hand is up, and I hope yours is up too because this funding is the root of all evil.
Look no further than Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY).
No Money
I am going to give you some figures, then, if you still support PACs and outside donations, let me know.
According to the most recent Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings, through June 30, the Cheney campaign had raised roughly $13 million.
Of that $13 million, roughly $1.3 million came from California.
How much do you think came from Wyoming residents’ donations?
A total of 200 Wyoming residents donated to her campaign, accounting for about $260,000.
This means the majority of Cheney’s money, virtually all of it, is via PACs and outside donations.
People with no interest in what happens in Wyoming, such as Hollywood elitists, are backing her campaign.
Maybe that is why she is 30 points down in every poll that is being conducted right now.
Cheney has two weeks before her primary and she is down huge, but let’s see what happens on election day.
I can promise you two things…
First, if Cheney wins, there will not be a single soul on the right that will ever trust an election in this country again.
Second, if she loses and is ousted in the primary, watch the January 6 Select Committee kick it into high gear and make a power move against Trump.
