Marjorie Taylor Greene got “swatted” early Wednesday morning. Everyone is assuming the whole reason she was targeted for a predawn police raid is her outspoken conservative views. She may be a member of the “radically” far right but that doesn’t justify what happened. It seems that FBI and IRS agents aren’t the only ones terrified of angry citizens. Democrat policies have brought us to the brink of disaster, with fresh cracks in coherent society appearing under our feet daily.
Swatted over political views
Georgia lawmaker Marjorie Taylor Greene was “swatted” in the early morning hours of August 23, “by a 911 caller who is upset over some of Greene’s political views.” Police from the town of Rome “responded to reports around 1 a.m. of a person being shot several times.” They were keyed up on high alert to confront someone armed and dangerous.
Greene is so dangerous to the left, she terrorizes them in her sleep. “When officers responded they discovered this was the home of Marjorie Taylor Greene.” They didn’t discover that until after they banged on her door.
The assistant Police Chief, Debbie Burnett, confirmed the lawmaker had been fraudulently “swatted.”
“911 received a call from the suspect, claiming responsibility for the incident and explaining his/her motives.”

When a bleary and confused MTG appeared at her door, she “assured the officers there was no issue and the call was determined to be a false call commonly known as ‘swatting.’” That wasn’t the end of it.
“Rome/Floyd 911 received a second call from the suspect who was using a computer generated voice, stating that he/she was upset about Mrs. Greene’s political view on transgender youth rights.” Obviously, this registered Democrat thought having someone swatted was the answer to the whole problem but that isn’t nice. People get killed that way.
“The Rome Police’s Department Criminal Investigation Division is working in conjunction with the Capital police on this investigation.”
Armed police officers
Immature renegade gamers came up with the idea of having their rivals swatted as a way to get even for online offenses. The practice has continued every so often, occasionally with really bad outcomes. It starts with a “prank” call to “police or 911 in an attempt to bring a large number of armed police officers to a particular address.”
It works really well because police can’t afford to take a chance on being wrong if they ignore the call. If it’s done properly, the police don’t smell a rat until after the shooting is over.
Ms. Greene is a vocally outspoken far-right conservative who “represents Georgia’s 14th congressional district, which includes much of northwest Georgia but also stretches southward into portions of Cobb County.”
The state has been a hotly contested battle ground to both sides for many years now. Having MTG swatted is an escalation of the political dirty tricks.
Tyler Rai Barriss, of Los Angeles, pleaded guilty and got sentenced to 20 years in prison for having 28-year-old Andrew Finch swatted on December 28, 2017. “Finch, unaware of the false report, answered the door and was fatally shot on his porch by officers who had surrounded his home.”
Much later, police tracked down Barriss. “He told authorities he had made the call at the request of Casey Viner, 19, who had gotten into a feud with Shane Gaskill, 20, while the two were playing ‘Call of Duty’ online.“
