I have to admit, from time to time, I will go on Google Maps and do a street view of my old neighborhood to see what is going on.
Sadly, the old neighborhood is now a run-down slum, thank you, Democrats.
A UK woman had a different experience, seeing something she had not seen in nearly a dozen years.
He’s Back
Katie Scott was playing around on Google Maps, reminiscing when she suddenly saw her father… who had passed away 11 years ago!
She stated, “I cried when I found it. All those memories came flooding back.”
No, her father was not alive, but the street view picture on Google Maps was her father sitting on his favorite bench while he was still alive.
Arthur Scott had been diagnosed with stage three kidney failure in 2008, which is when Katie moved him in with her to take care of him.
Scott stated, “When he was diagnosed, we were told that he’d only have a few years left so I moved in with him to look after him.
“It was a shock when he was diagnosed and it heartbreaking to think about losing him.”
Arthur passed away in 2013, which obviously devastated his daughter.
Scott added, “When I found the image, I was so emotional. That was his favorite spot. As soon as the sun came out, he was on that bench.
She added, “It was upsetting but I was happy. I don’t have many photos of my dad, but we were very close.”
Sadly, that picture was eventually removed, and Katie only had her memories of her father to bring a smile to her face.
Katie stated, “He had a brilliant sense of humor and our relationship was mostly based on humor. It’s been hard living without him.”
