The media dared to call Joe Biden out after his utterly ridiculous speech on Thursday night.
Even some of the most leftist media members were shocked at the speech’s tone, rhetoric, and backdrop.
When they did, a top White House staffer lost it on them on Twitter.
You Said It
White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates threw a temper tantrum after the media called him out.
Three prominent journalists went off on Biden over the speech…
“Good manners is nothing they’ve ever suffered from,” @POTUS says about protesters at his speech, in which he accused former President Trump and “MAGA Republicans” of threatening the foundation of U.S. democracy. The White House said earlier today the speech was not political.

Like or loathe what he said tonight, it should be noted: The president spoke tonight on the grounds of a national park, flanked by US Marines, and took direct, specific aim at his predecessor and members of the Republican Party.
Another thing we don’t see everyday.

There’s nothing unusual or wrong with a President delivering a political speech — it’s inherent in the job description — but doing it against a backdrop of two Marines standing at attention and the Marine Band is a break with White House traditions. pic.twitter.com/s3TSYHtkcA

When Bates saw the tweets, he started digging into all of their articles.
His justification for going off on the media was that they had been critical of the Trump administration as Biden was during his speech…
It's no more "political" than this accurate and timely reporting from CNN. ⤵️

Here is the difference…
They are media, and they are paid to report stories.
Joe Biden ran on a platform of unity, so to sit there in that ominous setting and tell more than 70 million Americans they better watch out, well, that is quite different than a journalist offering up his or her perception of a presidency.
Sorry, Andrew, no matter your spin, your boss screwed up.
