The Kentucky Judicial Conduct Commission has recently charged 38-year-old Family Court Judge Dawn Gentry with nine counts of misconduct.
This incident is yet another example of the corruption and miscarriages of justice that are becoming increasingly common in family courts across America.
Judge Gentry, who serves as a family court judge for Kenton County near Cincinnati, allegedly used her power to give preferential treatment to attorneys who fulfilled her sexual demands.
She had also been accused of flirting with attorneys over Snapchat and putting pressure on them to have sex with her.
In one particularly disturbing case, she asked a female attorney to join her in a threesome with a former church pastor, Stephen Penrose, whom she was also having an affair with.
Furthermore, it is believed that Gentry once had a threesome with Penrose and her secretary in the courthouse itself.
Family court judges are some of the most powerful figures in America due to their authority over custody disputes and neglect/abuse cases involving children – making this scandal all the more concerning.
Unfortunately, instead of using her status as an opportunity to help vulnerable families, Gentry decided to use it for personal gain – including asking Katherine Schultz (who sat on a panel set up by Gentry) to download Snapchat so she could proposition Schulz for sex in exchange for preferential treatment.
The two even went so far as asking Schulz if she would be interested in joining them at a legal conference for a threesome.
It is an absolute disgrace that taxpayers have spent $135K per year on somebody like this whose main goal seems to be getting drunk on the job and hosting orgies during office hours.
