Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows that Joe Biden botched the Afghanistan withdrawal.
We can talk about making a deal with the Taliban until we fall over and die.
However, that does not change the fact that Biden had no plan and left Americans behind.
Not only that, but according to a Marine with boots on the ground that day, the bombing never should have happened.
Give the Order
Marine Sgt. Tyler Vargas-Andrews was there that day.
Not only that, he believes he had eyes on the suicide bomber with an opportunity to take him out before the bomb was ever set off.
He stated, “I requested engagement authority while my team leader was ready on the M110 semi-automatic sniper system.
“The response: leadership did not have the engagement authority for us. Do not engage.
“We asked him if we could shoot. Our battalion commander said, and I quote, ‘I don’t know.’
“Eventually this individual disappeared. To this day we believe he was the suicide bomber … plain and simple we were ignored.”
Then the bomb was detonated, and he added, “I’m thrown 12 feet onto the ground, but instantly knew what had happened.
“I opened my eyes to marines dead or unconscious lying around me.”
This is the state of our military right now, with leaders telling troops, “I don’t know.”
I am sickened by this, and cannot imagine that Marine ever being able to get those images out of his head.
