Trump Strips Security Clearance, Secret Service Detail From Warmonger

Trump Strips Security Clearance, Secret Service Detail From Backstabbing Turncoat

Social media is celebrating after notorious warmonger John Bolton was stripped of his security clearance and Secret Service detail almost immediately after President Donald Trump took office.

Bolton is an unapologetic warmonger who “published a memoir for monetary gain” after Trump fired him as his national security adviser in 2019, according to Trump’s order, which notes that Bolton’s “book was rife with sensitive information drawn from his time in government.”

“National security is also damaged by the publication of classified information,” the executive order stated. “Former National Security Advisor John R. Bolton published a memoir for monetary gain after he was terminated from his White House position in 2019. The book was rife with sensitive information drawn from his time in government. The memoir’s reckless treatment of sensitive information undermined the ability of future presidents to request and obtain candid advice on matters of national security from their staff. Publication also created a grave risk that classified material was publicly exposed.”

“To remedy these abuses of the public trust, this Order directs the revocation of any active or current security clearances held by: (i) the former intelligence officials who engaged in misleading and inappropriate political coordination with the 2020 Biden presidential campaign; and (ii) John R. Bolton,” the order continued.

These actions led Trump to strip Bolton of his security clearance and Secret Service detail, which happened “within hours” of taking office, according to CNN.

Bolton whined about the decision in a statement posted to X, where he complained that he deserved for the American taxpayers to fund his protection because of threats to his life from Iran — the country that he has repeatedly demanded that the U.S. invade.

“I am disappointed but not surprised that President Trump has decided to terminate the protection previously provided by the United States Secret Service,” he wrote. “Notwithstanding my criticisms of President Biden’s national-security policies, he nonetheless made the decision to extend that protection to me in 2021.”

“The Justice Department filed criminal charges against an Iranian Revolutionary Guard official in 2022 for attempting to hire a hit man to target me,” Bolton continued. “That threat remains today, as also demonstrated by the recent arrest of someone trying to arrange for President Trump’s own assassination. The American people can judge for themselves which President made the right call.”

Bolton’s post was ruthlessly mocked on social media, with hundreds of users calling the warmonger a “traitor” to his country.

“If you’re a traitor to your country, our taxpayer dollars should not pay for your security detail,” one user wrote.

“Nobody cares buddy. You’re rich enough to hire your own security,” another user wrote.

“Perhaps don’t write a tell all book about your year in The Trump WH and release it before DOJ review. Put some of that $2 million advance towards private security,” another user said.

“So Biden gave John Bolton, a private citizen not holding or running for any kind of public office whatsoever, a $6+ million dollar per year Secret Service detail [because] of a single threat made by a foreign national… but they denied RFK Jr’s request for one, despite him running for President and receiving multiple, credible threats. Unbelievable,” another user pointed out.
