On Wednesday, September 20, former President Donald Trump made a surprise appearance at the Treehouse Pub in Bettendorf, Iowa. Video taken at the event showed the pub filled with his supporters who were chanting “we love Trump” and holding signs for his 2024 campaign.

Mr. Trump was welcomed with cheers as he greeted patrons and handed out pizzas while expressing optimism about winning the Iowa caucuses in a historic landslide come November.

As soon as the former president stepped inside the pub, people erupted into cheers and chants of “USA! USA!” and “we love Trump”.

He then went around shaking hands and socializing with bar patrons before handing out a stack of pizzas to everyone present.

It was clear that Mr. Trump had gained immense popularity among Iowans since his last campaign season four years ago when he narrowly lost to Senator Ted Cruz in the state’s caucuses.

The former president expressed optimism about winning the upcoming Iowa caucuses in less than four months time during a large gathering at Maquoketa town.

He received similar warm receptions from crowds at places such as the Hawkeye State Fair last month where he handed out pork chops and at an Iowa-Iowa State football game earlier this month where he visited a fraternity house and mingled with students upon entering the stadium.

Such visits have increased Mr. Trump’s chances among mainstream polls which puts him way ahead of other Republican challengers like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy.

Donald Trump is currently on a five-visit tour plan which kicked off on Wednesday night with his surprise visit to Bettendorf’s Treehouse Pub followed by more public appearances throughout the state of Iowa in order to increase support for his presidential bid come November 2024.

His visit has been well received by all those present at each venue so far which bodes well for his future campaigns if nothing else.
