Trump Set the Internet ON FIRE

Sometimes I really wish someone would take Donald Trump’s phone out of his hands.

He made a post on Truth Social about Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) that shows how quickly Trump can set the media on fire.

Already, people are saying he is greenlighting a physical attack against McConnell while at the same time making racist comments about McConnell’s wife.

Act Like an Adult

If Trump truly wants to be the GOP nominee, this nonsense has to stop.

It is not even that he is wrong about McConnell, but he needs to find a better way to say his piece.

He knows every word he says is going to be gone over with a fine-toothed comb by the media.

To that point, you can see the reaction below by one of his former staffers that is now on “The View.”

Trump spokesman Taylor Budowich pushed back, stating, “Mitch McConnell is killing the Republican Party through weakness and cowardice.

“He obviously has a political death wish for himself and Republican Party, but President Trump and the America First champions in Congress will save the Republican Party and our nation.”

Trump took a great point and turned it into rhetoric for the left to use against him and against conservatives.

He continues to be his own worst enemy.

Right or wrong, you would think he would have learned by now much his controversial tweets cost him in 2020 and during his entire presidency.

I am not saying that he needs to dial down his attacks, just that he should be watching his wording better.

And before anyone accuses me of being a liberal, take note that I am looking at this from how people will react that can cause him a problem if he decides to run in 2024.

He fought off accusations of racism his entire presidency and now he sends something out that completely pours gasoline on that narrative.
