President Donald Trump made a shocking declaration on Tuesday, revealing that he had already “left instructions” in case he is assassinated by Iran.

Just before his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on February 4, Trump spoke with reporters in the Oval Office during a signing event, where he responded to potential threats from Iran.

While signing an executive order increasing pressure on the terrorist nation to stop them from developing nuclear weapons, Trump told reports that he had already put a contingency plan in place in the event that he is assassinated by Iran.

“It’s very tough on Iran. Hopefully we are not going to have to use it very much,” the president said while signing the executive order, which will reimpose sanctions against the terrorist nation that were relaxed under President Joe Biden’s failed leadership. The executive order will also effectively push Iran’s oil exports down to near zero.

Trump was then asked by Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy about the threats against his life from Iran.

“Iran and their proxies have threatened to retaliate against you by killing you guys for taking out [Qasem] Soleimani,” Doocy said.

Trump replied by revealing that he had “left instructions” about how the U.S. government should respond if Iran were to succeed in their plan to assassinate him — emphasizing the fact that the entire nation of Iran would be “obliterated.”

“Well, they haven’t done that,” the president said. “And that would be a terrible thing for them to do. Not because of me, because if they did that, they would be obliterated. That would be the end. I’ve left instructions — if they do it, they get obliterated. There won’t be anything left.”

There have been numerous threats against Trump from Iran and their terrorist proxies over the years, with at least one assassination plot being foiled by law enforcement just after Trump’s landslide victory in the 2024 presidential election.
