Donald Trump is headed to Florida in a few days to hold a big rally.
Senator Marco Rubio (R—FL) will be there.
Governor Ron DeSantis will not.
The Snub
DeSantis recently endorsed a GOP candidate that is on Trump’s hit list.
When he did, Trump went ballistic, telling DeSantis it was a big mistake.
It was never made clear if Trump was now putting DeSantis on the kill list or not.
Many are reading the snub here as that being the case.
Trump’s team, however, says that is not true.
The Trump adviser stated, “This is an event President Trump is holding as part of a series of stops he is making for Republican Senate candidates.
“It came after he and Senator Rubio spoke directly.”
A Republican strategist is reading a bit more into this, stating, “You’ve got the Sunday before Election Day totally hijacked by Trump parachuting in on Trump Force One taking up the whole day.
“No Republican could go to a DeSantis event that day. None.
“And DeSantis won’t be here? This is big.”
A break between Trump and DeSantis serves nobody.
These two better find a way to kiss and make up and they better do it soon.
