On Sunday, President-elect Donald Trump announced that he had found a role in the White House for the “fierce Defender of the Rule of Law” Alina Habba, one of his attorneys who has become a favorite among his supporters.
Trump made the announcement in a post on Truth Social, where he praised Habba for her “tireless” and “fierce” efforts and revealed that she would be serving in the role as Counselor to the President.
“I am pleased to announce that Alina Habba will join my White House Team as Counselor to the President,” he wrote. “Alina has been a tireless advocate for Justice, a fierce Defender of the Rule of Law, and an invaluable Advisor to my Campaign and Transition Team.”
Trump went on to note that Habba “has been unwavering in her loyalty, and unmatched in her resolve — standing with me through numerous ‘trials,’ battles, and countless days in Court. Few understand the Weaponization of the ‘Injustice’ System better than Alina, who has fought relentlessly against the full force of Lawfare with courage and an unshakable commitment to Justice.”
“As a first generation American of Middle Eastern Heritage, she has become a role model for women in Law and Politics, most recently being named Chaldean Woman of the Year,” he added.
“Congratulations to Alina, her husband Gregg, and her three beautiful children, Chloe, Luke, and Parker,” Trump concluded.
Habba responded to the announcement in a post on X.
“Honor of my life to serve the 45th and 47th President and the American people,” she wrote, ending her post with an American flag emoji.

Trump’s most ardent supporters celebrated Habba’s new role in the replies.
“America is honored to have you continuing to serve Trump and our country. You deserve this recognition and much more for all you’ve done defending Trump from the nonstop lawfare from the corrupt Democrats. Congrats!” wrote Paul Szypula.
Another user celebrated with a clip of Habba’s “epic walk-out” from Trump’s historic rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City just a few weeks before Trump’s landslide election victory — where the attorney danced and strutted to the stage as the lyrics “All we do is win, win, win, no matter what” played in the background.

Habba gave a fiery speech about “lawfare” being used against Trump during that historic rally.
“They tried to keep President Trump and his campaign in courtrooms being persecuted. But, do you know what he did while he was in those New York courtrooms? He won the hearts and minds of the American people all from this city,” she said.
“You see the deep state, they underestimate how smart we are, and they want the American people to fall in like a bunch of sheep,” Habba added. “You know what they don’t realize, New York? We’re going to be the ones herding sheep out of the White House on November 5. Because, Kamala Harris, you are getting evicted from my president’s house!”
