The Donald Trump camp is not happy.
And guess who they are upset at?
Well, that would be Donald Trump.
What’s He Doing?
Donald Trump announced his candidacy very early.
When he announced before Georgia was settled, many thought it was a selfish move that would but Walker’s seat in jeopardy.
As it turned out, Walker did lose, and Trump did little to help him down the stretch.
Walker was also significantly outraised by Warnock, so there are fingers pointing wanting to know if Trump’s announcement cost Walker extra money as well.
On top of all that, Trump has done very little since he announced, which has his advisers upset.
One stated, “So far, he has gone down from his bedroom, made an announcement, gone back up to his bedroom and hasn’t been seen since except to have dinner with a White supremacist.”
Ouch!
Another added, “I don’t know why he rushed this. It doesn’t make sense.
“You know what it’s done to dissuade people from getting in? Nothing. He hasn’t hired anyone. He hasn’t been to the early states.”
I will be honest… I don’t think Trump’s heart is in in this time.
It was almost as though he announced because that was what he was expected to do.
The lackluster response his announcement surely did not help.
