I really like Trey Gowdy, and I am saying that because I am about to lay into him a little bit.
Gowdy had a message for the GOP in the House during his weekly show on Fox News.
That message… get to work.
And Do What?
I got the general impression that Gowdy was disappointed in how the House election worked itself out.
Like many others, he felt that McCarthy should have been unopposed and immediately elected.
Gowdy is now challenging them to get results, but I don’t really know what he is expecting to happen.
Investigations are going to happen, but they are not legally binding.
If they come up with a referral, Merrick Garland will kill it.
To me, the most important thing they are working on is the rule changes and starting a discussion about term limits.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I want to see these investigations, but that House will not be able to produce a single piece of legislation that Joe Biden will ever sign into law.
