It has been announced that the top legal counsel to President Joe Biden will be leaving the White House next month after almost three years of service.
Stuart Delery was originally part of Biden’s transition team in November 2020 and later took over as chief counsel after Dana Remus left.
In a statement, Biden expressed his appreciation for Delery’s leadership and contributions to his administration, thanking him for his efforts in implementing major legislation such as the American Rescue Plan and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

This news comes just as House Republicans have launched investigations into Hunter Biden and the origins of COVID-19.
Attorney General Merrick Garland has even appointed a special counsel to look into documents found on President Biden’s possession at two different locations.
Former President Donald Trump also recently made remarks about running again in 2024 and appointing a “real” special counsel if elected to investigate allegations of corruption surrounding the current president and his family.
This follows U.S Attorney David Weiss being appointed by AG Merrick Garland as special counsel investigating Hunter Biden, something widely panned by conservatives who claim it was only done for political optics given Weiss had already been investigating Hunter long before this appointment was made.
The former president also pointed out how $20 million from foreign countries had been received by the Bidens while Joe was vice president—and likely more than that—with Trump asking what exactly were they doing with all this money?
He went on accusing Joe of being compromised, bribed, blackmailed, afraid of speaking up against other countries due to an alleged cover up taking place regarding how much money was given by China specifically, claiming he is nothing but a Manchurian Candidate in office right now.
