A former Trump staffer is headed to jail.
Steve Bannon, who served as a top ally of Donald Trump’s in the early days of his administration, has been sentenced.
The sentence was not quite what the DOJ had hoped, but Bannon will be behind bars.

Bannon was sentenced in his contempt of Congress case.
The DOJ was asking for six months and a $200,000 fine.
The judge was a bit more lenient with the sentence.
Bannon was fined only $6,500 and given a four-month sentence.
He was released pending the outcome of his appeal.
When Bannon walked out of the courtroom, he was respectful of the judge and the decision.
He was not so nice to Joe Biden and the Democrats…
Democrats better dig in because I have a feeling that Bannon is just getting started.
