The last time anything was free-falling as hard as Joe Biden’s poll numbers… Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were breaking America’s Top 20. Truly, there is no basement, no bottom-out, no crust of the Earth, no Mohorovičić discontinuity, or even event horizon of a singularity that truly represents how low Biden’s poll appeal in 2022 can go. An ABC News/Washington Post joint poll has him falling to a record low approval rating of 37%. And things get even worse for him when we dig deeper into the report.

Digging Deeper Into Biden Polls Reveals A Nightmare For Democrats
The next question asked by the ABC/WaPo poll was even more stunning: in Early Midterm Vote Preferences, the Republicans are outperforming Democrats by a healthy 7 point margin with 49% to their 42%. The self-identification poll was even more startling: where last year the DNC had edged out a 7 point lead with more Americans considering themselves Democrats, that narrowed to 1% this year, a statistical dead-heat.
But so much more telling is the Economic side of affairs which are incredibly indicative of a partisan power shift. ABC Wrote, “Seventy-five percent of Americans rate the economy’s condition as not so good or poor, the most in ABC/Post polls since 2013. The public by a 3-1 margin says it’s gotten worse rather than better since Biden took office, 54-17% (with the rest saying it’s stayed the same). That “gotten worse” number is more than double what it was when measured during Trump’s presidency in 2019 (22%) and 11 points higher than under Obama in 2012.”
Here’s where it gets interesting, Americans are feeling the impact.
“As noted, just 17% report being better off financially now than when Biden took office; twice as many, 35%, are worse off. A negative score on this measure has reliably indicated political trouble since Ronald Reagan popularized the concept in his successful 1980 presidential campaign. Among other notable instances, it was negative for George H.W. Bush on his way to losing re-election in 1992, and damaging to Obama early in his presidency as the country struggled out of the Great Recession.”
Within mere hours of the ABC/WaPo poll hitting the press, The Hill dropped another bomb on Biden… 62% of Americans think Putin WOULDN’T have invaded Ukraine if Trump were president according to a Harvard-Harris poll, even worse “59 percent — also said they believed that the Russian president moved on Ukraine because Putin saw weakness in President Biden,”
From a polling perspective, this is a NIGHTMARE scenario going into any election, but going into 2022 with twenty-three Democrats retiring, this is adding up to be a possible blowout. The only way for them to hold onto power now is to change election laws to overwhelmingly favor them… or to cheat.
