It looks like our air marshals have had just about all they can take from Joe Biden.
There are now whispers of a bit of a mutiny over agents being assigned to the border.
Low Morale…
This is now the second agency where we have heard reports of low morale due to Biden’s policies.
David Londo, president of the Air Marshal National Council, stated that “Rank and file air marshals are going to refuse to deploy and risk termination.”
He added, “You’re almost going to have a mutiny of a federal agency, which is unheard of.”
Moving air marshals off planes and to the borders would leave 99 percent of our flights unprotected.
In addition to that concern, the jobs these agents are being given are what low-level civilian staffers would do.
Londo called them “mainly non-law enforcement civilian humanitarian duties.”
He added, “Morale is so destroyed from this. I’ve never seen anything like this.”
In his letter to Secretary Mayorkas, Londo wrote, “Your policy of forcing FAMs to deploy to the southern border is extremely concerning given the time of year and the recent incidents of violence on American flagged aircraft. As it stands today, we believe that many FAMs [federal air marshals] will refuse to deploy, believing the order is reckless and leaving our country vulnerable to attack.
“In at least one case, a FAM is being told he has to deploy even though he informed the agency he has no childcare. The agencies only response has been that he will get written up and face termination.”
“Your policy has resulted in a complete loss of confidence in Secretary Mayorkas, FAM Director Stevenson, and Administrator Pekoske’s ability to lead DHS/TSA/FAMS.”
So, that makes two federal agencies that Joe Biden has now destroyed.
