There is another Democrat-run state that is starting to feel the pinch of a lack of law and order.
Oregon, more specifically Multnomah County, which is where Portland is located, is seeing residents flee in record numbers.
More importantly, the residents that are fleeing are among the most highly taxed.

The fact of the matter is that even rich Democrats do not like these extreme liberal policies we are seeing put in place around the country in blue states.
More than 14,000 people left the Portland area recently, costing the city $1 billion in lost tax revenue.
A report on those fleeing the area found, “The average income of Multnomah County residents who moved away in 2020, the most recent figure available, was 14% higher than of those who moved the year prior[.]”
This trend is the complete opposite of what the state had seen in the past.
Those leaving the state before were kids finishing up college and looking for their first big opportunity.
Now the state is losing people that set up roots there, but are no longer happy with the way things are going.
For a city like New York, $1 billion in lost revenue would sting, but it could survive.
For Oregon, this is just shy of 15 percent of the city’s annual budget, so this is a massive blow.
We are glad to see people standing up, but we can only hope they have learned their lesson.
If they move to states like Florida or Texas, let’s hope they start pulling the handle for Republicans instead of Democrats who want to turn these key red states blue.
