The People’s Convoy is hoping to make it through the state of Illinois peacefully but the state police are hypocritically thinking real hard about impeding their lawful protest. Only Antifa members are allowed to block highways in that state. Meanwhile, Democrats have the deplorable proof fences up around the Capitol again. With the main force of the trucker protest days away, police are on extra-high alert for truckers already there. Security forces are stationed at all the major intersections. Every highway into Washington D.C. is being patrolled. Even the National Guard is on standby. Progressives are totally terrified that someone will try to disrupt Joe Biden’s big speech Tuesday night.

People’s Convoy rolls along

After the way Canadian officials chilled the free speech of their patriotic truckers, many Americans who wanted to attend our version of the mandate protest decided to sit this one out. Not all of them though. Enough patriotic teamsters have trickled into the district to make the feds really nervous.

Several planned convoys fell short of their attendance goal so urged those remaining to band together. The People’s Convoy remains the biggest and it’s rolling along right on schedule.

Breaking news just coming in on Twitter says that “six more trucker convoys plan on merging with the People’s Convoy when it reaches Indianapolis.” At that point, organizers expect over 10,000 vehicles to join.

Currently reported as 100-vehicles strong and eight-miles long, the People’s Convoy rallied in Missouri Monday night to plan the best way to get through Illinois without a fight. They got a “harsh warning from state police discouraging protesters and threatening legal action.” They don’t even plan to stop for gas but it’s still a threat to liberals.

Along with heavy handed and unscientific mandates the truckers are taking a stand against government infringement on American Constitutional rights in general. The participants want to make it crystal clear they are totally peaceful and intend obeying every law.

They’re protesting because it’s the government on the side of anarchy these days. Even so, “This is not a left issue. This not a right issue. This is an American issue,” trucker and Peoples’ Convoy co-organizer Brain Brase, 37, of Ohio declared Monday night.

Violations of our rights

Not only “have we seen multiple violations of our constitutional rights, but on a global scale we have seen violations of our God-given rights. Governments around the world are violating your human rights.” This is becoming a conflict of “Biblical” proportions.

The People’s Convoy raised over $1.5 million in donations and not a dime of that went through GoFundMe. The protest has it’s own website and promises “not to disrupt roads or bridges.

Convoy organizers “have promised a 100% safe, lawful and peaceful journey” and it will “terminate in the vicinity of the D.C. area, but will NOT be going into D.C. proper.

Those deplorable fences are just another waste of taxpayer money. They plan to roll in to the greater D.C. area on Saturday, March 5.

On Tuesday, the advance part of the convoy got their permit approved for an “anti-mandate rally near the Washington Monument Tuesday afternoon.

The rally expects at least 500 people for “peaceful demonstration/assembly, Christian Music/Speakers against mandates, support of convoys in Canada, lifting of mandates in DC/USA.
