Before Joe Biden dropped out, he made one desperate move to try to save his campaign.
Biden once again caved to the party’s far left, offering the Supreme Court as bait, which I am sure Kamala Harris will follow up on.
Biden announced that he was going to move forward on Supreme Court reform, with some pretty earthshattering changes to the court.
Here They Go Again
Biden announced that he was hoping for cooperation to make some major changes to the court.
First, he wanted to introduce term limits for all justices, very convenient since three of the four oldest justices on the court are conservatives.
He also wanted to get an amendment passed that would permanently remove immunity for government officials currently covered.
With the current makeup of Congress, none of this will ever get passed.
The House will never pass any of this and even if it did, Biden would need a two-thirds vote in both chambers to pass the amendment, which will never happen.
Donald Trump immediately went on the attack going after Biden for the blatant campaign promise that was being covered as policy change.
Trump responded, “The Radical Left Democrats are desperately trying to ‘Play the Ref’ by calling for an illegal and unConstitutional attack on our SACRED United States Supreme Court.
“The reason that these Communists are so despondent is that their unLawful Witch Hunts are failing everywhere.
“The Democrats are attempting to interfere in the Presidential Election, and destroy our Justice System, by attacking their Political Opponent, ME, and our Honorable Supreme Court.
“We have to fight for our Fair and Independent Courts, and protect our Country. MAGA2024!”
With Harris now apparently taking over for Biden in the campaign, you better believe this will energize the radical left and be at the heart of her campaign.
I just hope Harris agrees to a debate with Trump because I guarantee there will be some fireworks going off if she does.
