The big news in Texas was the acquittal of Attorney General Ken Paxton.
He fought his way through 20 different charges.
After the impeachment was over, Paxton had quite a bit to say, including a huge allegation against the Biden administration.
It Was Joe
Paxton did not hold his tongue on the Texas House, which has a Republican majority, for going after him.
Hammering the Texas House Speaker, Paxton stated, “I don’t think he particularly has an ideology.
“He’s like, ‘I want to stay in power. I’ve cut this deal to be Speaker with Democrats.’”
When he was asked where the call to impeach him came from, Paxton threw it right to Biden.
Tucker Carlson asked him if that is where it originated, and Paxton stated, “I really do, that’s where it was instigated.”
Now, I get why he is frustrated, but if Biden is calling the shots in the Texas House, they better have some serious changeover during the next election.
Paxton is just not well-liked by establishment politicians on either side in Texas.
They saw an opening, so they tried to remove him thinking the get the Senate to come along for the ride.
While they did get two Republicans to vote against him, they needed nine, so the impeachment failed.
I would love to say that Biden called this, but I just don’t see him having that kind of influence in Texas.
