Soros Tips His Hand [WATCH]

Speaking at the World Economic Online Forum in Davos, Switzerland, billionaire George Soros stated that he thinks the war in between Russia and Ukraine might begin the third world war that ends civilization. Soros is a dubious figure for his funding of left-wing groups through his Open Society Foundations company.

While speaking throughout his yearly dinner in Davos, Soros stated that the course of history has actually altered since the last World Economic Forum celebration.

“Russia invaded Ukraine. This has shaken Europe to its core,” Soros said.

The billionaire stated that he is not sure that civilization will make it through the conflict.

“The European Union was developed to avoid such a thing from occurring. Even when the fighting stops, as it ultimately must, the circumstance will never ever go back to the status quo ante. Certainly, the Russian intrusion may turn out to be the beginning of World War III, and our civilization might not endure it,” he said.

Soros talked about that he thinks Putin anticipated to be welcomed in Ukraine as a liberator.

“Other concerns that issue all of humankind– battling pandemics and environment modification, preventing nuclear war, preserving worldwide institutions– have needed to take a rear seats to that battle,” the investor said.

“Yet the professionals inform us that we have already fallen far behind, and environment modification is on the edge of ending up being irreparable. That could be completion of our civilization,” he said.

Soros stated that climate change remains “especially frightening.”

“Most of us accept the idea that we should eventually pass away, but we take it for granted that our civilization will endure,” he stated.

“For that reason, we must mobilize all our resources to bring the war to an early end. The very best and possibly only way to preserve our civilization is to defeat [Russian President Vladimir] Putin. That’s the bottom line,” Soros continued.

Soros added, “The invasion of Ukraine didn’t come out of the blue. The world has been increasingly engaged in a struggle between two systems of governance that are diametrically opposed to each other: open society and close society. Let me define the difference as simply as I can in an open society the role of the state is to protect the freedom of the individual. In a closed society, the role of the individual is to serve the rulers of the state. Other issues concerning all of humanity fighting pandemics, and climate change, avoiding nuclear war, maintaining global institutions have had to take as a back seat to that struggle. That’s why I say our civilization may not survive.
