The border state of Texas found a low-cost inflatable solution to help slow the flood of trans-nationals invading America. They’re installing “a floating barrier along the Rio Grande to deter migrants from crossing the river.” They aren’t perfect but they’re a whole lot better than what Joe Biden has come up with, which is nothing.
An inflatable solution
Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced, on June 8, that they’re floating a low-cost solution to the migrant crisis along the Rio Grande. It’s not really a big river but it is a big deal because it marks our southern boundary in those parts. The currently disfavored term “wetback” refers to those who illegally enter the country by swimming across.
They can still do it, if they’re determined, but the strings of floating balls should slow them down enough to keep it from being a problem.
The first 1,000-foot section will be strung along a stretch of the river near Eagle Pass by July 7. That’s currently a “key entry way for illegal border crossings.”

I appreciate the effort, but now they can swim to it, take a break & swim across to the other side. 🤷🏻♀️😂
They should just import some gators from Florida 😳https://t.co/lmxAC7zdRt

The solution involves “interconnected 4-foot-wide sphere buoys that spin when grabbed.” They aren’t meant to cover the entire border stretch of the river but can be “moved and extended” to to cover the “hot spots” where illegal aliens are sneaking in.
Abbott has been on the front lines of the invasion battle all along and this “marine partition” is “just one part of Abbott’s latest efforts to prevent more migrants from coming into the country through the Lone Star State.”
It might not be the entire solution but it’s another valuable tool in the box.
Secure the border
If he can’t find one solution, he’ll find another and he’ll keep trying as long as it takes. Abbott just signed a package of six new border security bills meant to “protect Texans from the record level of illegal immigration, weapons, and deadly drugs pouring into Texas from Mexico caused by President Biden’s refusal to secure the border.”
Some say Joe Biden should be in jail for his bribery scheme with Ukraine but that’s another story.
The state legislature in Texas stands firmly behind the conservative governor. Last month, they voted an additional $5.1 billion for border security. That comes in handy because this first stretch of the new floating barrier comes with a $1 million price tag, DPS Director Steve McCraw relates.

He thinks it will be an effective solution. As New York Times reported, “McCraw said he believes the barrier would stop migrants from even coming into the water when asked whether it would present a hazard to those trying to cross the river.”
The Maverick County sheriff is all for the idea. He relates that “his deputies recover one or two bodies from the Rio Grande each day because so many migrants drown trying to cross it.”
They have to find a workable solution because it’s a lot more dangerous than the migrants realize. “Anything that keeps us from finding a dead body on the side of the river, I’m for.” It’s obvious that Biden wants a whole bunch of new citizens real fast. Even he doesn’t want them washing up along the river.
