How upset were you when you found out that Joe Biden left more than 1,000 Americans behind in Afghanistan?

How upset were you when the media pretty much just brushed it under the rug?

Well, you better sit down, because this story is going to have to you banging your head up against the wall.

Still There

Last week, Secretary Blinken was on the Hill getting grilled over the Afghanistan withdrawal.

The Inspector General’s report gave a scathing assessment of the withdrawal, so members of Congress were looking for answers.

In the course of questioning, Blinken admitted that there are still more than 100 Americans behind enemy lines that this administration has failed to evacuate.

Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) asked Blinken about Americans still behind.

Blinken replied, “There are several Americans who are being detained by the Taliban.

“We are working to secure their freedom.

“The families have asked that we protect their identities and don’t speak publicly to their cases.”

Wilson pressed him on the number, the specific number of Americans still in that country.

Blinken finally admitted, “As we speak, American citizens who identified themselves to us who are in Afghanistan — some of whom have been there since the withdrawal, some of whom went back to Afghanistan — there are about, that we’re in contact with, about 175. Forty-four of them are ready to leave, and we are working to effectuate their departure.”

Imagine… more than 1,000 left behind and two years later, there are still 175 Americans trapped behind enemy lines.

I am not sure what is more outrageous…

The fact they are still there or the fact the mainstream media is not even reporting or investigating this.
