Secret Service Revelations Come to Light

The January 6 Select Committee once again dropped some compelling testimony.

It was all hearsay and conjecture again, but it was compelling and dramatic, exactly what the Hollywood producer running these hearings and Democrats wanted to see.

This time it was someone trying to interpret the feelings of Secret Service agents tasked with protecting Mike Pence.

In Fear

If I sound skeptical, I am.

This was the recorded testimony of a mystery witness…

“The members of the V.P. detail at this time were starting to fear for their own lives.

“There was a lot of yelling, a lot of very personal calls over the radio…it was disturbing, I don’t like talking about it.

“But there were calls to say goodbye to family members, so on and so forth.

“It was getting—for whatever the reason was on the ground, the V.P. detail thought that this was about to get very ugly…everybody kept saying—at that point it was just reassurances, or I think there were discussions of reinforcements coming, but again, it was just chaos. There was just yelling.”

“If they’re running out of options and they’re getting nervous, it sounds like we came very close to either service having to use lethal options or worse.

“At that point, I don’t know, is the V.P. compromised? Is the detail compromised?

“We didn’t have visibility, but it doesn’t—if they’re screaming and saying things like ‘say goodbye to the family,’ the floor needs to know this is going to a whole other level soon.”

Now, pictures of that scene he is describing have already been published, as has the video, and that panic he describes I did not see.

I do not doubt that the agents were concerned, but I would like to hear from those agents and Mike Pence about the fearing for their lives and the calling of families to say their last goodbyes.

Something tells me that something that drastic would have gotten out long before this hearing.

This is all simple enough to corroborate… put Mike Pence and his detail on the stand.

Sorry, but without that direct testimony, this is, once again, hearsay and conjecture, so I object!
