The Secret Service cannot afford any more embarrassment, but one agent clearly did not get the memo.
An explosive report surfaced this week that an agent on Harris’ pre-scout team sexually assaulted a staffer on Harris’ campaign.
The alleged assault took place during a pre-scout for a Harris campaign event in Wisconsin.
A Disgrace
The agency is already dealing with the fallout of two attempts on Donald Trump’s life and the loss of a civilian.
And that does not even take into account when a member of Harris’ detail broke into a local store to use the bathroom and disable surveillance. They also left the doors open after they left.
In the latest report, they stated that members of the Secret Service and the campaign were partying at a local hotel.
A group of them relocated to the room of one of the staffers, which is where the incident took place.
The agent, who was reportedly drunk, tried to force himself on one of the staffers.
The report continued that the agent was “so inebriated that he was kicked out of his hotel room by co-workers and passed out in the hallway, where photos were taken of him.”
The Secret Service did respond to the report, stating, “The U.S. Secret Service Office of Professional Responsibility is investigating a misconduct allegation involving an employee.
“The Secret Service holds its personnel to the highest standards.
“The employee has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.”
The agency is clearly out of control, yet Biden continues to allow people to coast without holding anyone accountable.
Heads need to roll, but Biden seems terrified to actually hold people accountable, especially this close to the election.
