I read a report on Monday that had me steaming mad for several reasons.
We have to go back a bit to get fully enraged, but I will cover that below.
If you can believe this, an Iraqi judge who issued a warrant for Trump’s arrest had been scheduled to meet with DOJ officials.
Shock Meeting
Go back to the strike that took out General Soleimani when Trump was in office.
If you recall, an arrest warrant was issued for Trump and several of his cabinet members over that strike.
The judge who issued that warrant was a pro-Iran regime jurist, Faiq Zidan.
The warrant stated, “After the completion of the preliminary investigation procedures, the judge decided to issue an arrest warrant for the outgoing President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.
“The investigation procedures will continue to find out the other participants in the implementation of this crime, whether they are Iraqis or foreigners.”
The State Department was actually bragging that its officials were going to meet with Zidan.
The announcement stated, “The Supreme Judicial Council President Faiq Zidan is going to be hosted by the Department of Justice so we defer to the DoJ to discuss their meetings.
“We engage with a wide range of counterparts in Iraq and we value engaging the Iraqi judiciary.
“The DOJ meets regularly with foreign judicial leaders.”
The DOJ apparently did not want the meeting to get out, so the next day, it stated, “Zidan will not be meeting with any DOJ officials.”
So, why was a meeting scheduled with the man who issued a warrant for a former president of this country for a military strike that was carried out?
Maybe I sound like a conspiracy theorist, but was this some sick plot to try to turn Trump over to Zidan and have them extradite Trump to Iran?
I know it might sound crazy, but should we really put anything past this administration at this point?
