Ukraine is losing the war, and while they continue to suffer at the hands of a powerful Russian onslaught, their only victories are in the headlines of mainstream media.
The Ukrainian counteroffensive has resulted in mass casualties among their soldiers and rapid destruction of military equipment provided by Western taxpayers.
All that remains is for the mainstream media to focus attention on drone and missile strikes against Russia – acts which have little to no real effect militarily, other than providing propaganda for both domestic and international audiences.
The Russian Federation continues to fight a war of attrition with overwhelming artillery, air, and naval forces targeting Ukraine’s military forces, equipment, and installations as well as crippling their energy infrastructure capabilities.
On August 6th, an array of missiles were launched from fighter aircraft (Tu-95s) land launchers, navy ships, along with Iranian-made Geranium (Shahed) drones causing massive destruction with 84 identified missiles hitting deep targets in four different regions including Starokonstantinov airbase – one of Ukraine’s largest operational bases.
In addition to destroying targets at Armed Forces of Ukraine, facilities within Ukraine itself cache’s ammunition have been destroyed as well as numerous weapons and military equipment severely impairing Ukraine’s ability to defend themselves.
The attack also demonstrated improved capability by Russian military industry having delivered newer, better missiles and drones in quantities unmatched by the West – further exacerbating Ukraine’s situation on the battlefield.
It is clear that despite all efforts put forth by mainstream media towards hailing Ukrainian ‘victory’, the reality is that Russia continues its advance and until more effective action is taken Ukraine will remain at risk both militarily and economically.
