We thought there would be repercussions for Kyle Gass’ comments about Trump during a recent Tenacious D concert.
The repercussions, however, were far harsher than we ever thought.
Tenacious D now appears to be on a permanent hiatus.
Sorry, NOT Sorry
If you missed the news, during a recent show in Australia, Jack Black told Gass to make a birthday wish.
Gash wished that the shooter would not miss Trump the next time, which drew a rousing round of applause from the lunatic liberals in the audience.
Jack Black, apparently, did not find it as funny.
The day after Gass’ comments, Black announced, “I was blindsided by what was said at the show on Sunday. I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence in any form.
“After much reflection, I no longer feel it is appropriate to continue the Tenacious D tour, and all future creative plans are on hold.
“I am grateful to the fans for their support and understanding.”
Gass issued an apology following Black’s statement, saying, “The line I improvised Sunday night in Sydney was highly inappropriate, dangerous and a terrible mistake.
“I don’t condone violence in any kind, in any form, against anyone.
“What happened was a tragedy, and I’m incredibly sorry for my severe lack of judgement.”
Do you know why he apologized? He hopes Black will reconsider and continue with Tenacious D.
If Black had not done what he did, Gass would have never apologized, of that I am certain.
These people are sick in the head, literally laughing and making jokes about some nutjob trying to kill a former president.
It just goes to show how deep the divide in this country really is and that we have no chance of a country being unified as long as that attitude exists.
