Joe Biden is once again making a terribly reckless decision that could have a serious impact on our country, as he has signed an executive order to raid emergency stockpiles.
The American people are being endangered once again as Joe Biden has decided to raid emergency government stockpiles in a desperate attempt to remedy the supply chain shortages caused by his failures as a leader.
The Western Journal reports: “While embarrassing the United States at the Group of 20 Summit in Rome, Biden signed an executive order Sunday authorizing the Pentagon’s undersecretary for acquisition and sustainment to release raw materials from the National Defense Stockpile ‘for national defense purposes.’”
It is crucial that the National Defense Stockpile stay full because it is an emergency supply of critical raw materials. It is unbelievably reckless for the Biden administration to use these emergency stockpiles to fix a problem that could be solved by reversing failed policies. At a time when the United States faces threats from China, using any emergency materials is dangerous.
The National Defense Stockpile is necessary because it can be used to decrease the United States’ dependence on foreign supplies during a national emergency. Of course, Joe Biden and the rest of the Democrat Party seem to be making the U.S. more dependent on foreign goods and services. Could this be all part of the plan?
Biden’s policies have destroyed American independence, especially when it comes to energy. Stopping construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline and halting new oil and gas leases on public lands have left us more reliant on foreign oil, and has raised gas prices for average Americans.
According to the Western Journal, “These decisions will have a catastrophic trickle-down effect on many Americans, whose heating bills this winter could be 54 percent higher than they were a year ago, when Donald Trump was president.”
Beyond heating bills and gas prices, Biden’s reckless decisions since taking office have made the U.S. less safe overall. With this new executive order, we could be seeing hard times coming our way very soon.
