Joe Biden has now been in office for about 18 months.
For the majority of that time, his administration has opened the floodgates at the border.
So, how can we possibly have fewer prosecutions of illegal immigrants over the last fiscal year than the year prior?
The Numbers
Fiscal year 2020 was half Joe Biden and half Donald Trump.
During that period, there were 13,213 migrants referred for prosecution.
During fiscal year 2021, which is all Biden, with record-setting illegal immigration numbers, there were only 2,896 migrants referred for prosecution.
For some idiotic reason, this administration has decided that certain crimes no longer qualify as crimes for illegal immigrants, such as felony DUIs.
And, just in case you forgot, illegally crossing the border is still a crime, even though Democrats believe it is not.
While not willing to give a name, a senior Department of Homeland Security official did offer a quote to the Washington Free Beacon.
The official stated, “The lack of accountability from this administration encourages the worst people flooding our borders, criminals, to keep violating our laws until they finally commit a crime so egregious that the Department of Justice is forced to prosecute.”
The problem, however, is that most media outlets will not even report crimes by illegal immigrants.
If you are not already, just follow Breitbart Texas to see these reports.
Rest assured, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of crimes every year that should have never happened, but Americans and legal residents are being robbed, raped, and killed solely because of this policy by the Biden administration.
