Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) made a big resignation announcement last week.
Unfortunately, it was not hers.
Instead, Pelosi demanded that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu resign, in a bold betrayal of our key ally in the Middle East.

Pelosi and far too many Democrats have been heaping demands on Israel while giving Palestine and Hamas a free ride.
When was the last time you heard a Democrat demand the resignation of a Palestinian leader for having turned Gaza over to Hamas?:
When was the last time you heard a Democrat demand Hamas leadership step down over the atrocities they have committed against the people of Israel?
Yet, Pelosi stated, “We recognize Israel’s right to protect itself. We reject the policy and the practice of Netanyahu — terrible.
“What could be worse than what he has done in response?
“He should resign. He’s ultimately responsible.”
“I don’t know whether he’s afraid of peace, incapable of peace, or just doesn’t want peace. But he has been an obstacle to the two-state solution.”
First, even Palestine does not want a two-state solution, so she can just forget about that.
Second, there was a ceasefire in place before Hamas attacked Israel, so why is the pressure not being applied to Hamas instead of Israel?
I cannot even imagine the outrage that Netanyahu must have right now with the Democrat Party right now.
I just hope Netanyahu and Israel remember this the next time our Democrats head over to Israel for a photo op.
