This administration is taking some serious fire right now.
Both Joe Biden and Jake Sullivan have made recent statements that are just not aging well.
The one I really want to dial in on, however, are the comments made by Sullivan.
Quiet
Less than two weeks ago, Sullivan was more or less bragging about Biden’s foreign policy.
While he admitted there were issues in the Middle East that needed to be monitored, he hinted that there were no real signs of trouble.
He stated, “I emphasize for now, because all of that can change, and the Middle East region is quieter today than it has been in two decades.”
Less than two weeks later, Israel is at war with Hamas.
The reason I bring this up is because it is astonishing that our “intelligence” services never picked up any chatter that something was amiss in the Middle East.
How could Hamas gather so much equipment and train for this conflict for what we have to assume was months without a single intelligence asset picking up on this?
This just reminds me of 9/11 all over again.
In fact, most would agree that this is Israel’s 9/11.
If they missed this, how much faith do we have in them that they are not missing some massive attack that is getting ready to be carried out against our country?
And I bring that up because if there was ever a time to attack the United States, this is it.
Our oil supplies are low, our munitions are just about gone, and we are short on equipment, all because of the Ukraine war that has drained all of our assets.
Our generals have openly stated that there is no way we could defend this country against a dual-front threat.
Be vigilant, my friends, because this situation smells horribly bad.
