An event just took place in California that just proves how inept Governor Gavin Newsom is at his job.

Perhaps if he worried more about his state than tweeting out things about Ron DeSantis and other Republican governors, his state would have been better prepared.

I am, of course, talking about the fact that Newsom waited until one week AFTER his state was hit with brutal storms to declare a state of emergency.

Big Mistake

When hurricanes were forecasted in the weather report, DeSantis made the unprecedented move to declare a state of emergency before the storms hit.

This enabled him to get all the necessary pieces in place to immediately respond once the storms died down.

At the time, DeSantis stated, “This storm has the potential to strengthen into a major hurricane and we encourage all Floridians to make their preparations.

“We are coordinating with all state and local government partners to track potential impacts of this storm.”

DeSantis also declared a state of emergency in anticipation of the Coast Guard needing help due to an influx of migrant encounters via sea.

When he did it, he was called all the usual “ist” names, then days later, the Coast Guard formally requested the help…

Roads and electric were restored in record time, proving that DeSantis had his sh** together.

Newsom, however, waited for a full week after the storms hit to declare his state of emergency…

The damage is already done, and people have already been waiting a week, plus the time it will now take for responders to get organized and on scene.

Yet, somehow, people continue to act as though Newsom will be the savior of the Democrat Party.

Clown show… that is what the Democrat Party is today.
