The last few months have been a huge turnaround in terms of the presidential race.
Not long ago, Joe Bide was at the bottom of the barrel, and Donald Trump was leading Ron DeSantis by about 50 points in the GOP race.
Now, Joe Biden is beating Donald Trump and it is Trump that is now trailing DeSantis.
Flipping the Script
The new Suffolk University/USA Today poll should have hit home for a lot of people, especially Donald Trump.
The trending for Trump is not good, and this trend does not seem like it is going to turn around anytime soon.
Trump has been backing up on DeSantis for some time, but now he is the one trailing by double digits.
The poll has DeSantis leading Trump 56-33.
It also has Biden leading Trump 47.3-39.5 percent.
DeSantis, however, has now taken the lead over Biden, 46.6-42.7 percent.
It now seems pretty clear that Trump needs to take a backseat to DeSantis if we have any chance of winning the White House in 2024.
I have long believed that DeSantis would crush Biden, but I have also stated regardless of how bad Biden was, an election against Trump was always going to be a toss-up.
With DeSantis now in the lead, it is time for everyone to get on board with this and create momentum to destroy the Democrats in 2024.
