Arizona Governor Doug Ducey was sick and tired of waiting for Joe Biden to fix the border wall.
He got the brilliant idea of taking shipping containers and stacking them up at the border.
These containers weigh more than four tons each, yet several were tipped over on Sunday night.
First reports were that this happened due to the wind, but Ducey is not buying it.
Who Did This?
I will admit, regardless of how heavy they are, I can see the wind hitting the containers just right and knocking them over, but it would have to be one hell of a gust.
It was more than just the containers being tipped over, however.
The fallen containers had large scratches, dents, and a hole at the bottom.
To me, it looked like someone moved them around by slamming a forklift or a long pole right through the container, then pushed it over the side.
Ducey communications director CJ Karamargin said, “The idea that it was a weather-related event seems unlikely.
“These things weigh 8,800 pounds.
“There were two of them together — 8,800 pounds is basically the weight of a Ford F-450.
“We have a lot of strong winds in Arizona.
“You don’t see a lot of Ford F-450s flying around when we have strong winds.”
These containers are Ducey’s low-cost temporary fix until the real border wall can be put up.
Ducey will probably have to wait until 2025 for that to happen.
