Mitt Romney Drops Trump BOMBSHELL… Entire Party SHOCKED

It is no secret about the ongoing feud between Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) and Donald Trump.

These two have been going at it ever since Trump won the 2016 nomination.

That is what made Romney’s recent statements about a Trump pardon so unexpected.

Big Mistake, Joe

Could Joe Biden have pardoned Trump? Absolutely, but Biden was pushing the narrative that nobody was above the law and Donald Trump needed to be held accountable.

Plus, most believe the Democrat plan was for Trump to win the nomination, then to be removed from the picture and sent to jail after a guilty verdict in one of these federal indictments.

The cards have not fallen how the Dems expected on that front, which is why Romney believes it was a mistake for Biden not to have pardoned Trump in the first place.

On what he would have done, Romney stated, “[Joe Biden] should have fought like crazy to keep this prosecution from going forward.

“It was a win-win for Donald Trump.”

Romney said this an “enormous error,” continuing, “You may disagree with this, but had I been President Biden, when the Justice Department brought on indictments, I would have immediately pardoned him. I’d have pardoned President Trump.

“Why? Well, because it makes me, President Biden, the big guy and the person I pardoned a little guy.

“I have been around for a while. If LBJ had been president, and he didn’t want something like this to happen, he’d have been all over that prosecutor saying, ‘You better not bring that forward, or I’m gonna drive you out of office.’”

To Romney’s point, Trump has been masterful at raising money off this, and most assume that if Trump does receive a guilty verdict, not only will he cash in but the verdict is likely to be overturned on appeal anyway.

In the other cases, well, they are not likely to ever see the inside of a courtroom.

Two of them are on hold and Fani Willis’ legal issue have the other case tied up.

If Trump wins this election, you better believe the first order of business for his AG will be to drop all charges, which will set off Dems and likely lead to an impeachment inquiry, but I doubt Trump is really worried about getting impeached again.

It is almost a given that if he wins, Dems will find something to impeach him again.
