Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has again proven why he needs to be removed from his leadership role in the Republican Party.
McConnell is defending Pelosi and her idiotic trip to Taiwan.
Why is he doing this?
Well, the establishment always sticks together because they are all running the same game on the American people.
Her Right
McConnell enthusiastically supported Pelosi’s trip, stating, “I believe she has every right to go, and it’s been unseemly and counterproductive for President Biden and his aides to have publicly sought to deter her from doing so.”
He later added, “I welcome the Speaker’s display for democracy, but I hope she returns from Asia more mindful of the military dimensions of the Chinese threat and more committed to working with Republicans to address the changing balance of military power out in the region.”
“Display for democracy.” Is he kidding?
She took photos and made some nonsensical speeches… that is all she did.
You want to show strength… send Joe Biden over there and dare the Chinese to make a move.
Send Blinken or Sec. of Defense Austin over… but Pelosi?
This accomplished nothing other than aggravating China and bringing us closer to war, a war we are in no shape to fight right now.
Let’s see how everyone feels about this if China starts launching missiles.
Then again, McConnell will probably be happy because all of our arms companies will be loading up his campaign coffers with money to hand them defense contracts.
