A highly-organized massive mob or ‘raid’ in a formation of 25 vehicles ransacked a Nordstrom store in Walnut Creek, CA 25 miles east of San Francisco according to authorities during the evening of Saturday, Nov. 20th. In under a minute, approximately eighty assailants overran the department store just before 9 PM PST, the location’s closing time, when staffing would be minimal. To the untrained eye, the scene that played out in the upper-middle-class shopping center seemed chaotic, but there was strategic and tactical thinking in this action. The looters’ execution of this raid was well-planned and methodical, using a large group of vehicles arriving in perfect sync they blocked roads and access points, slowing police responses and in a massed simultaneous breach into the store immediately overwhelmed the staff and any loss prevention measures they could hope to implement.
Brett Barrett, the manager of a P.F. Chang’s restaurant just across the street spoke to CBS Los Angeles and described the scene according to Western Journal.
“I probably saw 50-80 people in like ski masks with crowbars, a bunch of weapons,” he told KPIX. “They were looting the Nordstrom.”
“There was a mob of people,” he said. “The police were flying in. It was like a scene out of a movie. It was insane.”
“I had to start locking the front door,” he said. “Locking the back door. You never know, they could come right in here. It was crazy … All the guests inside were getting concerned. It was a scary scene for a moment.”
Only The Latest California Business To Be Ransacked
It is widely suspected that this incident is at least partially linked with the previous night’s looting that saw several stores, including a Louis Vuitton outlet at Union Square in downtown San Francisco ransacked. It is little wonder that this is the same area that brought us House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the former District Attorney Kamala Harris.

“One employee was pepper-sprayed, and two others were punched and kicked. All three sustained minor injuries, and were treated and released at the scene,” police told NBC News.
Lt. Ryan Hibbs told KPIX that two people were arrested fleeing in a car. One man was charged with robbery, possessing stolen property, conspiracy to commit burglary, and possession of burglary tools, and a woman with him was charged with possession of a firearm which immediately changes the character of this operation: it was an ARMED RAID. A third person was captured fleeing the scene on foot. He faces charges for robbery, possession of stolen property, conspiracy to commit burglary, and possession of burglary tools.

The legal environment that has been created in California, has created the circumstances that allowed this and many likely future instances to take place. As the Hoover Institution explains, shoplifting has become De Facto legal in the Golden State, leading to first pharmacies like Rite Aid being burglarized with impunity, leading to even a Neeman Marcus being essentially knocked over. Creating a system that demonizes and defunds law enforcement while simultaneously preventing the citizenry from protecting their lives, properties, and livelihoods breeds crime. Period. And the assailants who are willing to employ such a massed, brute force attack seem to have found a tactic that provably works within the environment the leftists have created. It leads to a single major question: how long will more conservative Californians put up with this before they too, take up arms?
