When a man breaks into your home, you have every right to defend yourself and shoot them in the face. (Shhhh….don’t tell the liberals that)
In Philadelphia, there is a man who is now in critical condition after police in the City of Brotherly Love arrested him for getting shot after he attempted to break into the WRONG property owner’s home!
The man ended up being shot in the face in the Philadelphia suburb of Holmesburg after he got into a scuffle with the homeowner!
This incident occurred at a home located on the 4700 block of Ashville Street shortly after 11 p.m. that Sunday.
Police said that the 31-year-old man made an attempt to break into the homeowner’s house but then he was immediately shot in the left side of the face.
The first-responders transported this man to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital where they treated him for his wounds and he was listed in critical condition.
According to police, the investigation is ongoing and the gun was recovered from the crime scene.
This is yet another example where the Second Amendment has proven to be a godsend for law-abiding citizens everywhere. Our right to bear arms “shall not be infringed” and this was one homeowner that was well aware of their rights!
Indeed, even if this had been one of the only examples of a property owner being able to protect themselves it would be very powerful, but there are plenty of other examples as well.
In August 2017, a Corpus Christi homeowner shot an individual who had entered their home just as Hurricane Harvey had made landfall.
There was yet another incident last September where a St. Louis-area homeowner shot an intruder after he entered through the rear door of the residence on Grant Road in the suburb of Webster Groves. Prosecutors said that they were not going to charge the homeowner, due to the fact that this was clearly a fact where they were simply protecting their home.
When a man breaks into your home, you can take pride in the fact that our Second Amendment rights are still alive and well in this country.
