It looks like there’s just been a huge update in Biden classified documents probe. A special investigation was launched into President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents during his time in public office. Now, it appears the probe is looking into as many as 100 witnesses, which includes Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in addition to various other high-level members of the Biden administration.
It is being conducted by Robert Hur, who has vowed to remain “fair, impartial, and dispassionate” while following facts “thoroughly” and without prejudice.

In light of the investigation, spokespersons for both the White House and President Biden‘s personal attorney have declined to comment on it publicly. However, they have already issued a defense attempting to distance President Biden from any potential scandal that could ensue from it.
They are claiming that all 25 documents requiring top-secret clearance which have been found in areas associated with him were merely stored there inadvertently.
This comes after two months prior when an attorney for the president revealed additional confidential materials stored in his Delaware home garage.
Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump is also facing legal action for allegedly mishandling classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida – charges which resulted in an FBI raid on the building earlier this year.
In response to this situation, he maintained that all materials he was keeping in possession had been declassified under the Presidential Records Act – something which is still yet to be proven or disproven by authorities investigating him.
President Biden himself has downplayed Hur’s inquiry into his document storage habits, telling reporters shortly after its announcement that “we found a handful of documents” which had simply been “filed in the wrong place”.
He also expressed confidence that a thorough review would prove these same items were misplaced unintentionally rather than deliberately misused by him or anyone else associated with him politically or otherwise.
